Country Ridge Puppies is home to not only some of the most beautiful Bernedoodle puppies and Poodle puppies you may ever see, but also our whole family. We are a small, family-ran breeder of AKC Poodles and Bernedoodle. We were located in Gap, Pennsylvania until we recently moved to Holtwood, PA in 2022.
Our puppies are raised indoors with the family and are handled by our kids on a daily basis. We also take them outdoors on short walks to expose them to a bigger world and new sounds when the weather permits.
We are very blessed to now live in our dream home nestled in the woods on 3 acres backed by 150 acres state game land . Our family along with our Poodle puppies and Bernedoodle puppies absolutely love the room to roam and play.
We specialize in Poodles with uncommon coat colors like tri-colors and partis. This makes for some of the most beautiful Bernedoodle puppies also.

About Country Ridge Puppies
As a child, I lived on a farm and grew up with a mini poodle constantly by my side. With her help, I raised a few litters of puppies over the years, and in so doing earned valuable knowledge related to raising healthy, happy puppies.
My husband grew up on a farm as well, where dogs were constant companions that were involved in every facet of their lives.
Growing up the way we did made us realize what a blessing dogs really are. The love and respect we learned for them as family members lead to us raising these wonderful companions ourselves. Living in our new location is just about perfect for our dogs and Bernedoodle and Poodle puppies! One of the reasons we moved was to have even nicer facilities for our four legged friends…of course we truly love our new location as well. Country Ridge Puppies get to enjoy running through our fields, as well as interacting with ourselves and friends/visitors. Now that makes for happy Bernedoodle puppies and Poodle puppies! š
What about those uncommon colors like tri colors and partis? They’re the reason we breed the way we do! Once considered an unwanted deviation from a solid color by show breeders, in recent years the tri color and parti Poodle have become much more desirable and sought-after thanks to their relative rarity. Many other breeders have been quick to jump on this rising popularity, but we’ve been raising them for years!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Dan as a breeder. From the time of first contact to having the puppy at our house was a little over two weeks. Dan has continued to communicate in the weeks after adoption ā you can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs, transition, and owner acclimation. We picked up Betty (Lola) on a Saturday, at a convenient location for a small fee that allowed us to shorten our long travel day. The whole process was as easy as it could be, and the puppy was, and remains in both perfect health and disposition. You can tell that these dogs have been well cared for and engaged with as they are jovial and outgoing from the start. She assimilated seamlessly into our family with two young children (6 and 4) allowing to be snuggled, kissed and carried from the start. One of my kids has an allergy to dogs and struggled mightly with our previous Boxer and French bulldog. Betty has not shed a single hair ā she tolerates her off of allergy medication without any issue at all. She has been the smartest dog that we have owned and is highly motivated to train. The food that she is on was high-quality and completely agreed with the dog, making it easy to maintain and taking all the guesswork out of figuring out diet. I will forever promote this breed and could recommend this breeder to anyone considering an F1B Bernedoodle puppy.
Working with Dan was a great experience. He was quick to respond to questions and kept us up-to-date with Darcy’s (aka Angela) progress through pictures and videos. The puppies were raised in a clean, organized area. They all were well socialized and behaved. Darcy was incredible on the 5 hour ride home with no issues. She has adjusted well to the transition to our home, which is most likely due to the wonderful early experiences from Dan and his family. Thank you so much for the new member of our family. I highly recommend Country Ridge, especially if you are looking for a well adjusted puppy from a quality breeder.
Iām thrilled to write this review for a stellar dog breeder whom I have the pleasure of now owning one of his pups. Our Darcy, a mini Bernadoodle is a beautiful, smart, curious, and of course, mischievous little pup. I have a lot of experience as a dog owner, having vetted breeders and raised multiple pups in the past. I was distrustful of finding a breeder on-line, without any referrals, at first. I asked Dan A LOT of questions to ascertain that he was legit and ethical. He exceeded my expectations! He is super-knowledgeable and compassionately invested as a breeder. He loves his pups and the business of good breeding and raising them in a safe and nurturing environment- the same is true for their parents. Dan was always responsive with texts and even followed up after our pup came home with us to see how she was adjusting. A+ for Dan!! I would highly recommend Country Ridge without any hesitation.
Oh my gosh!!! We have been so happy with our precious Mini Bernedoodle! We did rename her to Chloe from Sandy. Dan was so helpful during the whole process. It was painless and quick. The puppy is a joy and was obviously raised and pampered. She loves everyone and every dog friend she meets. She has a crush on an older Golden Doodle and they love to play together. Their most fun is stealing each others toys. Don’t wait get a puppy from Dan!!
